Since we are on the Taylor Nation Wave, I thought I’d mix it up and bring you the band who wrote one of Taylor’s newest releases, “Untouchable.” The lead singer, Nathan Barlowe, has a voice that is absolutely incredible. If it was not for one of my college roomates, the lovely and talented Becky, I would’ve never heard this masterpiece until the movie “Juno” hit theaters.
The Moldy Peaches made their debut to the commercial world off of the Juno Soundtrack, but this video from 2001 is absolutely PRICELESS.
WHO’S GOT THE CRACK - has the lyrics that I never had the guts to write, including the infamous rhyme:
“I AM A GOAT, IN A MOAT, WITH A BOAT”
Sounds silly, sound ridiculous, but stick with it and you just might end up on the floor by the time they get to…”PUT YOUR MOMMA IN A HEADLOCK BABY”
HA! And you thought I was off my rocker.

Jason Mraz & James Morrison :: Details In The Fabric.
This is hands down my favorite song from the latest Jason Mraz record.
“Hold your own, know your name, and go your own way…and everything will be fine.” I could not have put it better. Jason is absolutely ridiculous live, and in my opinion, one of the best male singers in current popular music.

I have been obsessed with this song from the moment I heard it on Alex’s site, www.crazedhits.com.
It’s sincere, well-written, and pushes the envelope. Erik, thank you for creating this. Not only does it hit home, but it both humbles and inspires me to become better in my craft as a songwriter. Alex, thank you for introducing me to this, you’re a bad ass.
